The brand name Kreuzspitze came from the german name of Monte Croce. This imposing mountain 2490mslm is the highest peak of western Lagorai. The two founding partners go on this mountain, in a sort of pilgrimage, every winter. The story begins about three years ago when the ski mountaineering champion Mirko Mezzanotte asked to Alessio trentinaglia to modify a rear binding to improve the racing features. The continuous research and development has led to the end of 2008 the collaboration of engineer Terragnolo Bruno, mechanical design expert on materials already. From this synergy and the experience in competitions provided by Mirko, were designed and manufactured components and other items. In November 2009 the two partners Bruno and Alessio, participated in Geneva at forum for industry professionals to work for ski mountaineering. In this forum Kreuzspitze was aggregated in the International Federation ISMF. With the enthusiasm and passion for this sport, the company aims to become in the near future a reference point in the field for the most demanding athletes.
